Description
Beginning at the cranial vault, the animation traces the central nervous system from cerebrum and cerebellum into the brainstem, then continues inferiorly as the spinal cord within the vertebral canal before branching into segmental spinal nerves. Cranial nerves emerge from the ventral brain and brainstem, while cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacral nerve roots exit through the intervertebral foramina to form the brachial and lumbosacral plexuses. As the sequence progresses head to toe, major peripheral nerves course distally along the limbs, with median and ulnar nerves descending on the anterior forearm, radial nerve tracking posterolaterally, and the sciatic nerve running posterior to the hip and thigh before dividing into tibial and common fibular components. Full-body continuity matters.
