Description
Rendered in a saturated red, the adult male heart is presented in an X-ray style that keeps the myocardial mass prominent while allowing the great vessels to read cleanly in depth. The left ventricle tapers inferiorly and leftward toward the apex, with the right ventricle wrapped more anteriorly, while the right and left auricles sit superiorly at the base. A transcatheter aortic valve replacement is seated at the aortic annulus within the aortic root, just superior to the left ventricular outflow tract and inferior to the ascending aorta, with the coronary artery origins positioned proximally relative to the prosthesis. Motion is the point.
