Anterior dissection of a male forearm and hand centers on the deep fascia (antebrachial fascia) as it invests the flexor and extensor compartments and continues distally into the wrist retinacula. Superficial flexor bellies, including pronator teres, flexor carpi radialis, palmaris longus, flexor carpi ulnaris, and flexor digitorum superficialis, lie anterior to the radius and ulna, with palmar tendons coursing distally toward the carpus and metacarpals. At the wrist, the palmar aponeurosis and flexor tendons align superficial-to-deep relative to the carpal bones, while the fascial sheath maintains the muscle contours and tendon planes. Bones of the distal forearm, carpals, metacarpals, and phalanges provide the rigid framework deep to the soft tissues. Fascial anatomy is not window dressing in the forearm.
