Description

Anterior head, neck, and upper thorax vasculature is rendered in an x-ray style transparency, with the common carotid arteries ascending bilaterally from the superior mediastinum and dividing superiorly into internal and external carotid branches. Lateral to the carotid arteries, the internal jugular veins descend within the carotid sheath, joining the subclavian veins inferiorly to form the brachiocephalic veins.
