Description
Arising from the right middle lobar bronchus, the medial segmental bronchus (B5) is presented in an inferior (basal) perspective, where its takeoff can be appreciated as a distinct branch directed anteromedially toward the medial segment of the right middle lobe. From this viewpoint, the lumen and bifurcation geometry are emphasized, with the B5 origin positioned medial to the adjacent lateral segmental bronchus (B4) and inferior to the more proximal middle lobar airway.
