Seen in lateral projection, the ulna and radius are presented as paired long bones of the male forearm with a diaphyseal fracture pattern in each, and the proximal fragments displaced anteriorly relative to the distal shafts. Proximally, the radial head aligns with the capitulum while the ulna forms the trochlear notch at the elbow, and distally the radius broadens toward the wrist with the ulna tapering to the ulnar head. Both cortical breaks are rendered sharply, making the step-off and angulation easy to appreciate in true anatomical position. A clean fracture line.
