Posterior skin reflections reveal the triceps brachii complex with emphasis on the medial head, positioned deep and inferomedial to the long and lateral heads along the posterior humerus. Distally, the medial head’s fibers converge toward the common triceps tendon, which passes posterior to the elbow to insert on the olecranon of the ulna, with the anconeus lying just lateral to the tendon. Depth matters here.
