Description

Superolateral to the thorax, the scapula lies on the posterolateral chest wall, articulating at the glenoid cavity with the proximal humerus, and the clavicle tracks anteromedially toward the manubrium at the sternoclavicular joint. Cartilaginous components are implied at the costal cartilages and joint surfaces. Clean alignment is easy to read. Surface-to-skeleton correlation matters here.
