Oriented from an inferior, bottom-up perspective, the mandible and submandibular region frame the submandibular lymphatics as they course along the undersurface of the jaw and around the submandibular gland. Collecting lymphatic vessels and capillary networks converge on submandibular lymph nodes positioned medial to the mandibular body and anterior to the upper cervical chain, with trajectories that track the anterior belly region of the digastric without obscuring musculature. Cranial base landmarks remain visible, including the hard palate and dentition anteriorly and the temporal bone region laterally, where inner ear structures sit posterior and lateral to the lymphatic field. Blue nerve pathways run in parallel planes to the lymphatics, emphasizing close neurovascular adjacency in the floor of the mouth and upper neck. Clean separation.
