Description
Beginning in the pyloric region and curving into its classic C-loop, the duodenum is isolated in an X-ray style render that tracks the superior (duodenal bulb), descending, horizontal (inferior), and ascending parts in sequence. As the highlight progresses, the first part lies anterolateral to the head of the pancreas, the second part descends on the right side of the vertebral column, and the third part crosses from right to left, passing inferior to the pancreatic head toward the duodenojejunal flexure.
