Description

The right atrium forms the right cardiac border, with the superior vena cava entering superiorly and the inferior vena cava approaching from the diaphragmatic surface, while the left ventricle sweeps inferolaterally to the apex and the left auricle sits anterior to the left atrium along the left heart border. As the animation progresses, the aorta is tracked from the aortic root into the ascending aorta and arch, and the pulmonary trunk is followed anteriorly and leftward before bifurcating toward the pulmonary arteries.
