Description
Radiating from a centrally placed male heart, an X-ray style rendering emphasizes the broad superior base and tapering inferolateral apex, with the myocardium rendered translucently so the cardiac chambers can be appreciated through the wall. Superior to the ventricles, the right atrium sits more rightward and anterior, while the left atrium lies posterior and receives the pulmonary veins; the left ventricle forms the apex and a larger share of the left cardiac border. Arising superiorly, the ascending aorta and pulmonary trunk are suggested as dominant outflow conduits, with branching arterial trees and returning venous networks extending bilaterally into smaller vessels.
