Arterial channels course anterior to the lateral malleolus toward the dorsum, then continue distally over the lateral aspect of the midfoot and forefoot, while superficial veins track in a parallel but more variable pattern within the subcutaneous tissues. Distal branches extend toward the toes, crossing the lateral border before turning medially into digital distributions. Clear landmarks.
