Description
Seen in a semi-profile orientation, the adult female figure emphasizes the superficial back musculature with the trapezius spanning from the nuchal region to the lateral clavicle and acromion, overlying the levator scapulae and rhomboid region. Inferior to it, the latissimus dorsi sweeps posteroinferiorly from the thoracolumbar fascia toward the intertubercular sulcus of the humerus, creating a clear posterior axillary fold adjacent to the deltoid cap at the shoulder. Longitudinal fiber direction of the erector spinae mass is evident along the thoracolumbar spine, with gluteus maximus and proximal hamstring contours forming the posterior hip and thigh silhouette. Tendinous insertions around the elbow, knee, and Achilles region are rendered in pale connective tissue tones. Clear fiber direction.
