Description
Anterior full-body anatomy of an adult female is rendered with the integument made transparent so the superficial and selected deep skeletal muscles are readable from face to foot. Facial expression muscles overlie the mandible and maxilla, continuing inferiorly to the sternocleidomastoid and the strap muscles of the anterior neck; across the thorax the pectoralis major spans from clavicle and sternum toward the humerus, with the deltoid capping the lateral shoulder and the biceps brachii positioned anterior to the humeral shaft. Rectus abdominis and the external oblique occupy the anterior abdominal wall superior to the inguinal region, while iliopsoas and the quadriceps femoris group (rectus femoris central, vasti laterally and medially) dominate the anterior thigh, continuing distally to the tibialis anterior along the anterolateral leg. Color-coded arteries and veins course superficially and deep to these muscle planes, and semi-transparent breast tissue reveals mammary gland lobules and surrounding adipose anterior to the pectoral fascia. Layering muscle with vascular pathways makes this composition useful when teaching how myofiber orientation relates to force vectors and to compartmental blood supply. It also supports clinical discussion of myofascial planes and common procedural corridors, such as the deltopectoral interval used for anterior shoulder approaches and the femoral triangle where the femoral nerve, artery, and vein lie in predictable lateral-to-medial order. Short and direct. Medical educators can drop this plate into myology and gross anatomy lectures, allied health courses on surface anatomy and intramuscular injection sites, and publisher layouts that need a single figure linking skeletal muscle groups to regional vasculature and female breast anatomy. Anatomical accuracy verified by SciePro's Medical Advisory Board.
