Description
Across the anterior thorax of an adult male, the pectoralis minor is shown as a thin, triangular muscle arising by fascicles from the external surfaces of ribs III to V near their costochondral junctions. Its fibers run superolaterally, deep to pectoralis major, to converge on the coracoid process of the scapula, placing the muscle immediately inferior to the clavicle and medial to the deltopectoral region.
