Description
Positioned at the posterior end of the maxillary dental arch, the third maxillary molar (maxillary wisdom tooth) is isolated in blue against a transparent rendering of the upper jaw. From a posterior perspective, the crown’s distal surface and rounded distobuccal contour read clearly, with the tooth seated inferior to the floor of the maxillary sinus and lateral to the nasal cavity.
