Description
Dorsal (posterior) hand anatomy is rendered with the vascular network overlaid on the skeletal framework, tracing the radial artery laterally toward the anatomical snuffbox and the ulnar artery medially as they contribute to the dorsal carpal arch. From this arch, dorsal metacarpal arteries course distally in the intermetacarpal spaces, then divide into dorsal digital arteries that run along the dorsolateral margins of each finger.
