Description
A fetus of approximately 21 weeks gestational age lies curled within the amniotic cavity, seen from the left side with the head flexed toward the chest and the spine forming the characteristic C-shaped fetal curve. The large cranial vault dominates the body proportions, the auricle of the external ear is fully modelled against the scalp, and fine lanugo-like surface detail covers the thin, translucent skin.
