Positioned in lateral view, the right male foot and ankle are rendered with the fibula and distal tibia superiorly, the talus seated within the mortise, and the calcaneus forming the posterior heel. Along the posteromedial ankle, the posterior tibial artery passes distal to the medial malleolus and sends plantar branches toward the tarsus and metatarsals, while the anterior tibial artery continues onto the dorsum as the dorsalis pedis artery. Superficial veins track within the subcutaneous tissues along the lateral border and dorsum, with perforating connections suggested around the hindfoot and midfoot. Bony landmarks remain readable beneath the vascular map.
