Running superficially along the anterolateral upper limb, the cephalic vein is traced from the lateral forearm toward the arm, then into the deltopectoral groove between the deltoid (lateral) and pectoralis major (medial). Its course is shown in relation to the anterior shoulder contour and proximal arm musculature, with venous tributaries suggested as smaller venules feeding into the main channel.
