Description
Curving superiorly, the uterine fundus forms the rounded dome of the uterus above the level of the tubal ostia, continuous inferiorly with the uterine body along the broad anterior and posterior surfaces. Laterally, the fundal contour grades into the uterine cornua (horns), where the uterine tubes approach and the broad ligament reflects from the uterine serosa.
