Description
Spanning head to toe in an adult female, the superficial skeletal musculature is rendered in red over a partially exposed bony framework, so you can relate muscle bellies and tendons to the skull, rib cage, vertebral column, pelvis, and the long bones of the limbs. Anteriorly, the pectoralis major lies superficial to the rib cage, the rectus abdominis runs vertically on either side of the linea alba, and the deltoid caps the shoulder lateral to the clavicle and acromion, with biceps brachii positioned anterior to the humerus and brachioradialis tracking along the lateral forearm toward the distal radius. Superficial arteries and veins course through the neck, thorax, and extremities, and yellow peripheral nerves weave alongside major neurovascular bundles.
